Shout To The Lord// What a Beautiful Name

Melody Noel, Michael Ketterer and Influence Music join two well-known worship songs in “Shout To The Lord // What a Beautiful Name.” The first part is Darlene Zschech's song, with its opening lines “My Jesus, my Savior, Lord, there is none like You.” The singer calls him a “tower of refuge and strength” and asks that “every breath, all that I am never cease to worship You.” The chorus tells all the earth to “shout to the Lord,” and says “the mountains bow down and the seas will roar at the sound of Your name.”

The bridge from Hillsong Worship's “What a Beautiful Name” takes over with the cross and the tomb. “Death could not hold You, the veil tore before You, You silenced the boast of sin and grave.” It continues, “You have no rival, You have no equal, now and forever our God reigns.” The medley ends on the name itself: “What a powerful Name it is, the Name of Jesus Christ my King, nothing can stand against the Name of Jesus.”

Shouting to the Lord is Psalm 100:1. The veil that tore is Matthew 27:51, and every knee bowing at his name is Philippians 2:9-10.
