Yeshua (Holy)

Meredith Andrews' “Yeshua (Holy)” begins in the throne room of Revelation. “The light of a thousand suns pales in comparison to You,” the first verse says, then places the elders falling down while praises rise “to the Lamb who's called holy.” A crystal sea and a kingdom “beyond belief” complete the scene, with the throne as “the center of every heart.” The chorus addresses him by the Hebrew form of the name, Yeshua, and says there is no other king like him.

The second half moves from heaven to the present. “The name above all names” is sung over and over, with the lines “the power in Your name sets us free, breaks every hurt and every stronghold.” A long section applies it outward: “You're the hope for our families, for our cities, for this nation, for the whole earth.” The leaders restate it in the singular too, so each listener can hear it for their own home. The song ends with simple declarations, “it's Jesus, only Jesus.”

The Lion of Judah and the Lamb come from Revelation 5:5-6, and the elders falling down are Revelation 4:10. The name above every name is Philippians 2:9.
