Miracle Maker

Phil Wickham builds this anthem around a roll call of Old Testament rescues, then turns those stories into a present-tense claim. Joseph's dreams coming true, Moses crossing the parted sea, Daniel unharmed among lions, David's sling against a giant — each verse is a quick snapshot of God doing what seemed impossible, capped by the repeated conviction that "we know what our God can do." The second half adds New Testament miracles to the list: Jairus's daughter raised and Lazarus walking out of the tomb, which sets up the title image of a stone-rolling Savior. The chorus anchors the singer's identity — standing with the Miracle Maker, on a rock that cannot be shaken, joining the song already being sung in heaven. The bridge makes the logic explicit: the same God who acted then can act now, so all God's people should sing together. The closing lines stretch that confidence across time, calling God the same yesterday, today, and forever, and giving all glory and praise to the Miracle Maker.
