Invisible

Absence drives Plumb's "Invisible." The singer is "sick and then I'm well, so full, so empty still," and the one being addressed leaves the singer "wanting." The plea "Don't be invisible 'cause I am reaching" sets the tone, and the chorus escalates it into a direct request: "Save me, go on break the glass, take me." Nothing in the lyrics names the person being addressed, so the song leans on the language of longing and rescue rather than doctrine.

The second verse sharpens the urgency. There is "no place to hide," the heart is racing, and "without you I can't live" while "gravity's pulling." Then the bridge settles into something quieter and more settled: "I cannot see you, but I can feel you." Faith here is not certainty but staying put, summed up in the repeated line "I've nowhere else to go."

For Christian listeners, that mix of silence and clinging has long scriptural company. Psalm 13:1 asks how long God will seem to hide, Psalm 139:7 asks where anyone could flee from His presence, and Peter's answer in John 6:68, "Lord, to whom shall we go?", echoes the closing line almost directly.
