All We Need

Starfield gathers a crowd in "All We Need," starting with a string of invitations: "Come sing," "lift your hands up high," "come lay your burdens down before Him." The first verse names the reason as "the One who's worthy," and the love of Jesus is offered as the thing that heals.

The pre-chorus gives the song its identity statement, "we were made for more," and the chorus finishes the thought. Hearts are described as beating for God, the world's offerings are refused ("we don't want what the world gives anymore"), and the second chorus puts it more bluntly: "there's nothing of Earth we treasure more." The line "You are all we need" is both a confession and a choice.

Late in the song the lyrics become a call to be loud about it: "come on sing your song, you've got to sing it out," followed by lifting hands, dancing and shouting. Breathing "the breath of God" and filling the mouth with praise gives the worship a physical edge. Psalm 73:25 expresses the same preference for God over anything on earth, Matthew 11:28 matches the invitation to lay burdens down, and Psalm 63:3 ties His love to the praise that follows.
