Song Meaning

Trampolines' “Jesus 10x” is an upbeat pop and hip hop track whose hook is the name of Jesus, said over and over. It opens with the name repeated, then a promise to say it again. The first lines call him the prince of peace when the singer is in pieces and the strength in her weakness.

The verses are casual and energetic. She says she will scream the name out so that others will believe, that this is her praise and worship, and that she is in love with the way because he saved her. She pictures driving with the windows down on the straight and narrow, asking him to light her way because she can't see her hand in front of her unless he stands close. Rain drops sound like a symphony and a love song he spoke to her. The ending lists the things she does in trouble, such as keeping Jesus on speed dial, giving thanks when she feels like falling, and standing on the edge asking him to show her the whole picture. The group has said they wrote it out of excitement for what God is doing and a wish for modern worship music, and that they filmed the video in a country where Christian outreach is restricted. It is a lively song for teens that treats praise as something to jump around to.

Singing a new song and shouting for joy is Psalm 33:3. Every knee bowing at the name of Jesus is Philippians 2:9-11, and the Lord as a rock is Psalm 18:2.

Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Imma say it again

Jesus Jesus
you’re the prince of peace when I’m in pieces
(I’m in pieces)
La da da da da da

Jesus Jesus
You’re the strength up in my weakness
Imma scream it out so they believe us
La da da da da da

This is my praise and worship
I’m movin the prayer and takin the chase
I’m in love with the way
I’m on that real-life cause you saved me

And bless the journey
Bless the journey
I got the windows down as I’m swervin through the straight and narrow

Light my way
I can’t see my hand in front of me unless you’re standing close to me
Even through the rain
Every drop sounds like a symphony a love song that you spoke for me
I will say your name
You are perfect so I will shout your name
At the break of day
And the first thing that occurs to me is there’s only one word to speak

Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus

Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
I will shout your name
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Imma say it again
Jesus Jesus
You’re on speed dial when I’m troubled
It is you I’m callin

Blessings Blessings
Gotta give thanks to the heavens
When I feel like falling

I’ve been screaming out to heaven
Out to heaven out to heaven
Show me the whole picture
on the edge I’m standing

I’m close to something
I’m close to something, close to something
And even if that’s just you that’s a solid rock to land on

Light my way
I can’t see my hand in front of me unless you’re standing close to me
Even through the rain
Every drop sounds like a symphony a love song that you spoke for me
I will say your name
You are perfect so I will shout your name
At the break of day
And the first thing that occurs to me is there’s only one word to speak

Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus

Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
I will shout your name
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Imma say it again
