Mountains Move (Mustard Seed)

WorshipMob opens “Mountains Move (Mustard Seed)” by quoting scripture almost directly: “we walk by faith and not by sight,” not by “power” or “might,” with faith resting not “in the wisdom of man / But in the Son, the Great I Am.” The refrain then names the image behind the title: “You make mountains move / With the faith of a mustard seed.”

The second verse defines the term (“Faith is our proof of what can't be seen / If it hasn't come, I still believe”) and anchors it in the gospel: “I'm redeemed by grace in Jesus Christ / Oh, He rescued me, and gave me life!” The bridge recalls Old and New Testament miracles in one sweep: God would “part the sea, walk on water, deliver me from Egypt,” then “heal the sick, raise the dead.” The line “You'll do it, do it again!” turns that history into expectation.

2 Corinthians 5:7 is the first line, Matthew 17:20 gives the mustard seed and moving mountains, and Hebrews 11:1 matches the verse about faith as proof of unseen things.
