Blanca's "O Come, All Ye Faithful (Gloria)" opens away from the familiar Latin hymn text, sketching the nativity in plain, modern lines: "Away in a manger / Was born a Savior," a star shining bright over Bethlehem's skyline. Before the traditional verses arrive, her arrangement adds a quiet detail most versions skip past — the newborn in the manger is already framed as the one who "will conquer the grave / And be our redemption." The cross is present at the cradle.

Then the familiar hymn takes over: the invitation to "come and behold Him, born the King of angels," choirs of heaven bursting into "glory to God, glory in the highest." The Latin refrain, "Gloria in excelsis Deo," is the same angelic proclamation Luke records the night shepherds watched their flocks — the sky itself announcing what had happened in an unremarkable little town.

What Blanca's added verses do is collapse the distance between Bethlehem and Calvary into one song: adoration isn't reserved for the baby only, but for the Savior whose whole story — birth, death, resurrection — is already implied the moment the angels start singing. "Christ the Lord" isn't a title earned later; it's true from the manger on.
