El Amor Rompe Barreras

Danny Gokey sings this one in Spanish, and the title translates to "Love Breaks Barriers" — a claim the song backs up verse by verse rather than just asserting once. "El amor salvara al que es culpable" ("love will save the guilty one") states plainly who the song is actually for.

"Es la voz del rechazado, tu castigo el sufrirá" ("it's the voice of the rejected, He will suffer your punishment") names two separate realities at once — being cast out, and having someone else bear the consequence instead. "Y milagros el hará, con vida nueva te restaurara" ("and He will do miracles, He will restore you with new life") answers both.

The verse "me levanta, me da vida" ("he lifts me up, gives me life") echoes the gospel accounts of Jesus calling out to people labeled by shame and restoring them by name rather than by reputation.
