Gungor builds this song almost entirely out of unanswered questions, a restless litany of identity that swings from the cosmic to the mundane. The singer wonders whether they are a ghost, an animal, an angel, even God, then collapses into the smaller, more vulnerable worry of simply being "alright." The same uncertainty gets turned outward near the end, when the questions shift from self to the divine: is anyone there, is anyone listening, is anyone good. That pivot keeps the song from being merely introspective — it becomes a prayer of doubt addressed to a silence that may or may not answer. The resolution is deliberately spare. After all the asking, the lyric lands on three words, "I am," which functions less as a triumphant declaration than as a quiet refusal to disappear. It echoes the self-naming of Exodus without over-explaining itself, and it leaves the listener holding both the anxiety and the bare fact of existence at once.
