Vapor

Gungor's "Vapor" opens on Ecclesiastes territory — the fleeting, wind-chasing thinness of earthly form — then pivots hard into adoration. The veil of earth gets stretched again, and what follows is creation doing what it was made to do: trees clapping, oceans dancing, a billion suns rising, mountains standing tall while valleys bow. The song keeps circling the word holy, adding weight each pass: holy, then the impossible and holy, then a litany of reversals where kings become fools and kingdoms crumble to ruins. The most striking turn comes near the end, when vapor itself finds ground in God and music finds sound — the very thing that seemed insubstantial is given a place to land. The closing plea asks for dawn, grace, sunlight, rain, breath, and springtime to bring the world to life, tying the opening's emptiness to a request for renewal rather than leaving it as resignation.
