He Always Makes A Way

Speaking to someone in pain is how this song begins: "I see you crying, I see you hurt, I see you reach, I know you're worried." The next lines list "all your struggles and all your troubles, too much to handle," and ask the question, "what do you do?" The answer arrives as a reminder: "there's one thing that you must remember about my God, He always makes a way."

The chorus is direct about how things look. "I know the situation's dim, and you can't see Him, but He always makes a way. You're not in this by yourself, when there's no one else." That promise of company matches Psalm 46:1 and Isaiah 43:2, and the title idea sounds like Isaiah 43:19's way in the wilderness.

A verse looks backward to support the claim: "I know you think about tomorrow, but don't forget about yesterday, He brought you through, He helped you make it." The bridge becomes a pep talk set to a repeated line, "don't you lose the faith, just know today that He will," with "don't you give up now" added, much like the exhortation to hold fast in Hebrews 10:23.
