Dance

PlanetShakers open with a short, plain testimony rather than an extended narrative: "I'm alive 'cause Jesus gave me life, He opened up my eyes, I can see clearly now."

"Everybody, give it up for Jesus, give Him glory, for He has redeemed us" turns that personal statement into a group instruction immediately, echoing Paul's description of redemption through Christ's blood as the reason for the glory being given.

"My desire is to lift You higher, it's only burning brighter, this passion inside of me" keeps the energy building rather than settling into a quieter bridge, matching the song's title command: "everybody dance now."

"This praise is bursting out and I can't contain it now" closes the song admitting the obvious — that the repeated, escalating chorus isn't really about choreography, it's what happens when the earlier claim about being made alive gets taken seriously enough to move the body along with it.
