Hogar (Home)

Planetshakers sing this one in Spanish, built entirely around the prodigal son's return rather than the departure — "hoy vuelvo a mi hogar, tú eres mi hogar" (today I return home, You are my home), "mi hijo regreso" (my son has returned). The language tracks Luke 15:20's account of the father who "ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him" the moment he saw his son coming home, before any explanation was given.

"Corro, corro, hacia tus brazos" (I run, I run, toward your arms) reverses the geography of the original parable, where the father does the running; here the singer runs first, but the destination is the same embrace. "Tu Gracia es más grande qué mi fracaso" (Your grace is bigger than my failure) states the song's whole argument plainly, echoing Romans 5:20's claim that "where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly" — failure measured against grace, and losing every time.
