It Is Done

PlanetShakers' “It Is Done” rests on a contrast stated in the first two lines: “With me, it is impossible / With You, all things are possible.” From there the song moves quickly to the claim it will repeat, “I know there is a miracle,” and to the mountain that “will be moved” because the singer knows God is able. The central line is the shortest, “You just say the word / And it is done.”

The second half gets personal. “I am who You say I am / And I can do what You say I can” turns the miracle claim into a statement about identity, and the bridge goes back to testimony: “I was blind but now I see / Jesus, You have set me free / I receive Your victory.” Praise here is described as “breakthrough praise,” offered ahead of the outcome with the line “You said it, so it is done.”

The opening contrast is Matthew 19:26, where with God all things are possible. The mountain being moved comes from Matthew 17:20, and “I was blind but now I see” is the account in John 9:25. The song ends by repeating “It is done,” a phrase that also echoes the cry from the cross in John 19:30.
