Come On To The Future

Skillet's "Come On To The Future" builds its entire momentum around a repeated invitation, urging listeners to step forward rather than linger. The song pictures an "invisible kingdom" that crashes into ordinary space and time, and insists the universe has already been ordered by a hand beyond human control. That confidence is the engine of the track: the future isn't something to fear but something already arranged, waiting to arrive. The bridge shifts into urgent commands — hold tight, run hard, run strong — as if the coming age is a wave breaking straight toward the listener, unstoppable and head-on. There's no ambiguity about the source of that power; the lyrics treat it as a collision of the eternal with the temporal, an age to come that believers step into even now. The repetition of "come all the way" reads less like a casual invitation and more like a call to full commitment, a refusal to hold back. The song's tone is declarative and forward-leaning, trading quiet reflection for a driving sense that what God has prepared is already in motion and cannot be stopped.
