Skillet's "The Last Night" is a first-person plea spoken to someone on the edge of self-harm, addressed with startling intimacy. The opening lines name the scars and the goodbye note directly, and the speaker's repeated "I'm fine" is immediately undercut by the admission that it's a lie.
