I Will Look Up

Elevation Worship builds “I Will Look Up” around a shift in posture. The opening verses lay worries, loved ones, hopes and fears “at Your feet,” trading anxious thoughts for “perfect peace,” and end on the choice to trust God’s name “in everything, with everything.”

The chorus supplies the title’s movement: look up because “there is none above You,” bow down to confess need, and name Jesus “Lord of all.” A bridge turns the gaze both ways, looking back to see faithfulness and ahead believing God is able. A later repeated stretch stacks up titles—Prince of Peace, Perfect Healer, King of Kings, Mighty Savior—each answered with “all my life, all my cares on You.”

The prayer echoes Isaiah’s promise of perfect peace for a steadfast mind and Paul’s call to bring every anxiety to God, while the lifted eyes recall Psalm 121.
