Never Lost

Miracle language fills the opening: "Miracles when You move / such an easy thing for You to do." The setting is the present tense, with a hand "moving right now" and a voice that keeps "showing up at the tomb of every Lazarus," calling the speaker out. Elevation Worship follows with a request that doubles as a creed: "Right now I know You're able / and my God, come through again."

The hook is a short, repeated claim: "You can do all things but fail / 'cause You've never lost a battle." Verse two credits the Spirit, saying "everything's possible by the power of the Holy Ghost," and imagines "a new wind blowing," breaking "my heart of stone" and "taking over like it's Jericho" until "my walls are all crashing down."

The back half turns the refrain into an extended chant, with "You've never lost a battle" stacked until the song sings "never, never" and settles on "so faithful, it's who You are." A last pass adds "there's nothing impossible for You." Luke 1:37 states that claim directly, John 11:43 is Lazarus called from the tomb, Joshua 6:20 is Jericho's walls, and Ezekiel 36:26 promises a heart of flesh in place of stone.
