Rattle!

Elevation Worship builds "RATTLE!" around Ezekiel 37 — the valley of dry bones brought back to life by nothing but a spoken word. "This is the sound of dry bones rattling... make a dead man walk again" turns the prophet's vision into a present-tense declaration, sung over whatever in the listener's life looks as dead as those bones did.

The bridge reaches for a second, less obvious resurrection story: "just ask the man who was thrown on the bones of Elisha" — a reference to 2 Kings 13:21, where a corpse touched Elisha's bones in the grave and came back to life. It's an odd detail to build a worship song around, but it makes the same point twice: God's power to bring dead things back doesn't fade even after the person carrying it is gone.

By the second half, the song strips down to repetition — "God said live," over and over, echoing Ezekiel 37:5's promise, "I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live." The lyric doesn't explain what's dead in the listener's own life; it just keeps saying the one word Ezekiel heard, and lets the repetition do the work of an altar call.
