Kutless opens with an unflinching admission — "I know I'm guilty of choices I've made" — before turning to what actually confuses him: not his own failure, but the fact that it didn't disqualify him. "It's how a God so Holy could love someone like me," he sings, treating grace as the real mystery, not sin.

His answer to that confusion isn't a theory; it's an image borrowed from physics. "Your Gravity keeps pulling me to You," Kutless repeats, "I must have been destined for You" — an attraction that works regardless of how far he's drifted. "No matter where I go Your mercy follows," he adds, treating pursuit as more reliable than his own consistency.

Jesus describes his own mission in Mark 10:45 as coming "to give his life a ransom for many," the exact cost Kutless names — "so You planned a ransom and You paid the cost" — and Lamentations 3:22-23 promises mercies "new every morning," never used up. Kutless doesn't claim to understand the mechanics of that pull; he just keeps ending up back at the source of it.
