My Revival

Lauren Daigle's “My Revival” is a brief song built almost entirely on one verse. It starts with a promise: “I will run and not grow weary, I will walk, I will not faint, I will soar on wings like eagles.” The singer then says where she will find rest, “in Your everlasting name.”

The chorus changes from future promise to a statement about who Jesus is. “You are my revival, Jesus, on You I wait.” She adds, “I'll lean on Your promise, You will renew my strength.” Because the song is repeated with only small changes, the words about waiting become the core, and the song works as a prayer for people who feel worn down. It does not describe a big event, only a decision to keep waiting for God to renew.

The opening lines come from Isaiah 40:31. Asking God to revive his people is Psalm 85:6, and waiting for God alone is Psalm 62:5.
