Even Still and Even So

Matt Redman commits to worship before naming any resolution in "Even Still and Even So" — "between the prayer and the miracle, between the dusk and the breaking dawn, in all the pain of the unresolved, I will worship You." The worship happens specifically in the gap, not after it closes.

"Between lament and a cry of joy, between the loss and a victory song, between each wave in the fiercest storm" keeps naming that same unresolved middle space from different angles rather than settling on one image. "Whatever comes, whatever falls, from the highest height to the lowest low" widens the commitment to cover every possible outcome in advance.

"My flesh is weak, but my faith is strong, I will believe for a turnaround" admits real weakness in the same breath as the declared commitment, and "in everything You are worthy" closes the song by keeping the standard fixed regardless of which specific outcome — miracle or unresolved pain — actually arrives.
