Wewe ni mwema

Israel Ezekia's "Wewe Ni Mwema" — "you are good" — spends most of its runtime on one claim: haufananishwi, you cannot be compared. That line sits close to Moses's song after the Red Sea crossing, asking who among the gods is like the Lord, and to the psalms that answer the same question by pointing at what God has actually done rather than arguing in the abstract. Ezekia does the same — "ninakiri yale uyatendayo," I acknowledge what you have done — naming God as father of the nations who performs wonders, then looping back to the refrain instead of building toward a bridge or resolution. It's a short, repetitive structure by design, closer to a chant than a ballad, meant to be sung communally until the words settle in rather than read once for their meaning. The theology stays simple and stated plainly: there is no rival, and the proof is in what has already happened.
