Deborah Lukalu keeps the lyric content of this one deliberately thin, leaning almost entirely on a single repeated claim — you deserve our praise — stated in English, then French, then folded into an Igbo-inflected chant naming Jesus as Eze ndieze, King of Kings. That layering of languages within a few short lines does more of the song's work than any verse would; it's less interested in explaining why the praise is owed than in demonstrating that the claim holds across cultures and tongues. The one personal line that breaks from the chant — "I have never seen this kind of love" — is where the song briefly steps out of declaration into testimony, naming an experience rather than a title.
